"Arogya” Mobile Medical Clinic Programme
In line with International Women’s Day, which falls on March 08, the “Arogya” Mobile Medical Clinic Programme is jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Divisional Secretariat. The programme is scheduled to be held on 04.03.2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the premises of the Divisional Secretariat.
The main objective of this programme is to promote the health of officers serving at the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Divisional Secretariat and nearby government institutions. On that day, the following medical examinations will be conducted free of charge through this clinic:
Measurement of blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI)
Blood sugar testing
Kidney function tests for officers with high blood sugar levels
Cholesterol testing
ECG testing
Eye examination
Dental clinic / oral health examination
Tuberculosis screening
Provision of nutritional advice for a healthy lifestyle by the Health Education Bureau
Cervical cancer and breast cancer early detection screening
Ayurvedic clinic
