- Development of education or knowledge
- Promote religion or maintaining religious practices
- Making a donation to peoples those who had rendered service to the nation.
- For any other purpose for the public good or welfare that, in the opinion of the President and the Board of the Governor’s
- In the case of medical assistance, the application should be duly completed and accompanied by the Grama Niladhari’s report, If applying before surgery then 30 days in advance, and if applying after surgery, should apply within 60days from the date of discharge from the hospital.
- All necessary documents for medical and non-medical assistance should be submitted to the Divisional Secretariat along with the application.
- Applications and documents for this purpose are available from the website www.presidentfund.gov.lk
- The final decision regarding the provision of medical assistance and non-medical assistance paid by the above Presidential Fund is taken by the Presidential Fund.
