Inauguration of the New Multi-Purpose Building at the Victoria Home for Incurables, Rajagiriya

On September 6, 2025, the new multi-purpose building at the Victoria Home for Incurables complex in Rajagiriya was inaugurated, alongside the distribution of wheelchairs and other essential equipment for its residents.

This building has been constructed with modern facilities and dedicated spaces for community care, social services, and community development activities.

Significance of the Event

This event was a collaborative effort, bringing together state and local government institutions, social service sectors, and private partnerships for the cause of community welfare. The building is especially regarded as a service center that will directly benefit the Victoria Home.

Inspection Tour at Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Divisional Secretariat to Enhance Service Efficiency

 

An inspection tour was conducted on September 4, 2025, to review the expansion of facilities aimed at delivering the services of the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Divisional Secretariat more efficiently and effectively. The updated computer system, which utilizes modern technology for the convenience of clients and to streamline official duties, was also examined during this visit.
