Utthama Pooja” – A Program Providing a Nutritional Allowance of Rs. 45,000/- for Pregnant Mothers
After confirming herself as a pregnant mother, she must register at the maternity clinic, and before completing three months of pregnancy, she should submit the completed application form along with the pregnancy record card to the Divisional Secretariat with the following documents:
- A certified copy of the pregnancy record card
- A copy of the National Identity Card
- These documents must be submitted to the Divisional Secretariat belonging to the division where the clinic she attends is located.
- At this stage, the beneficiary mother will receive a voucher booklet containing 10 vouchers, which can be used to obtain food items from registered shops within the division.

*Recovery of pensions paid after the death of pensioners

*Preparing monthly pension summary and obtaining monthly payment reports
*Maintenance of correction records, mailing of correctional checks
*Maintaining pension control account
*Computerization of residence certificates of pension residing abroad, correction of allowances and forwarding of pension file of pensioners who have been abroad for more than two year to the pension department
*Computerization of pensioner residence certificates

Services
- Payment of Senior Allowance
Payment is made to low-income adults over the age of 70. The application form issued by the Divisional Secretariat should be completed and the certificate should be submitted by the relevant Divisional Grama Niladhari.
- Payment of Disability Allowance
Payment is made to low-income disabled persons. The application form issued by the Divisional Secretariat should be completed and submitted along with a medical recommendation, certified by the relevant Divisional Grama Niladhari.
- Renal allowance payment
Payment is made for kidney patients. The application form issued by the Divisional Secretariat should be completed and submitted along with the medical recommendation, certified by the relevant Divisional Grama Niladhari.
- Payment of centenary allowances
Payment is made for people who have reached the age of 100. Individuals who have reached the age of 100 years or their guardians should complete the application form and submit it along with a medical recommendation, certified by the relevant divisional Grama Niladhari.
- Issuance of adult identity cards
Issued to citizens who have completed 60 years of age. The application form obtained from the Divisional Secretariat should be completed and submitted along with a copy of the National Identity Card and a copy of the Birth Certificate, along with two photographs, certified by the relevant Divisional Grama Niladhari.
